This year I’ve committed to a couple personal projects that spoke to me. Projects to help me grow and inspire me to create something new. One of those projects is the One Kid, One Roll, Once a Month film project. Every month I will feature a short photo essay about one of my children that was shot on film.
This is May: A walk through the wash with my ham of a little gentleman.
( I did not give him one bit of direction. In fact, I encouraged him to simply ignore me & explore. This was all his doing & yet him happily acknowledging the camera is in fact 100% him. He is the most smiley, silly, camera-loving boy I know <3 )
Images were shot on a Canon EOS 3 using Kodak Ektar 100 rated at 50
Please take the time to visit the other Film Mamas in the One Kid, One Roll group.
Next up is Tricia Boutelle Lifestyle + Photography

Kristin, these are lovely and sweet! I’m so glad that you included all of these images and also really impressed with your use of Ektar. I am usually leery of shooting Ektar with people, and you’ve done it so beautifully.
He is a ham for sure… so cute!
Oh my GOSH. His eyes, his eyes! And Ektar! Ektar! Love his expressions and love what you did with the Ektar. Great month for the two of you, I’d say! 🙂
